In partnership with Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, PIRE and Ohio University are supporting OhioMHAS efforts to plan, develop, and implement activities to support the continuation and expansion of the Ohio Healthy Youth Environments Survey (OHYES!). The work is centering around three goals: 1. planning; 2. reporting; and 3. recruiting, re-engaging, and retaining school districts. Approximately 192 school districts in 63 counties are being directly served by this project. In addition, all Ohio ADAMHS Boards, Health Departments, community-based coalitions, and service providers will be extended the opportunity to be served by this project. Key PIRE tasks as part of this project include creating code in R as well as Shiny interfaces for creating state, regional, district-level, and building-level reports using OHYES! survey data, exploring data visualization options for OHYES! data, creating training videos and materials, and assisting OhioMHAS with creating a strategic plan for the survey.
