PIRE was hired to evaluate this new initiative, which is a community-based campaign working with coalitions, pharmacists, dentists, and physicians, to address access to and misuse/abuse of prescription drugs among communities in Tennessee. PIRE will utilize process and outcome data, including satisfaction and exposure data, survey data, archival data, and PDMP data, in order to better understand the prescription drug issue in Tennessee and to assess campaign impact on key outcomes related to prescription drug use, as well as coalition capacity building.
