PIRE designed a health behavior survey for youth, their caregivers, and young adults that included valid and reliable measures in order to track and assess program outcomes in areas of health, education, and self-reliance (defined to include career readiness, resiliency, and civic engagement) among children and young adults (ages 6, 12, 18, and 24) in 10 countries: Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, the Philippines, the United States and Zambia. PIRE provided expert consultation regarding (a) sampling design and research methods to help establish stable estimates of program outcomes, (b) training and capacity development of CI field staff for data collection, and (c) data analysis, reporting, and interpretation of outcomes to inform with program planning and course correction.
