The purpose of this project was to work with cbm Canada to (1) identify impact measurement priorities and the operationalization of those impact measurement priorities (i.e., development of indicators and measures) for rigorous fieldwork (e.g., number/percentage of children with disabilities attending school), (2) prepare a pilot study (including sampling design) of one impact measurement, (3) provide cbm Canada with findings from the pilot study data as a means to illustrate how cbm may measure impact, and (4) using the work of steps one through three, provide cbm Canada with a framework of impact indicators for developing a standardized impact assessment tool and a client satisfaction tool that could be used together to tell cbm Canada’s story, as well as and a field methodology (including interviews and focus groups) that could later be pilot tested.
