This feasibility study evaluated a therapeutic community (TC) training program presented to staff of two youth detention centers in Brazil. Successful integration of a TC treatment was determined by assessing a set of outcomes including: (1) decrease in criminal behavior of former inmates, (2) decrease in the use of drugs and problem drinking, and (3) decrease in related problems such as poor family relationships and unemployment.
