An Evaluation of Drug Abuse Treatment in El Salvador

The goal of this study is to assess (1) drug abuse treatment success in 30 centers in El Salvador and (2) training experience of center staff that participated in training provided by the Organization for American States and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Department of State. Differences in outcomes for gang and non-gang former patients are highlighted.
