The Alabama Department of Mental Health was awarded the Strategic Prevention Framework for Prescription Drugs (SPF Rx) from SAMHSA to address prescription drug abuse in four high need counties across four regions of the state. PIRE is contracted to provide evaluation services to support this grant including development of planning and implementation tools on evidence based programs and strategies to address prescription drug misuse among adolescents and young adults and to assess the impact of these strategies in high risk communities.
