Quincy Lanford is a Research Assistant II at the PIRE Louisville Center. Quincy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Louisville (2021) and is currently a graduate student at the University of Louisville, planning to earn a MS in Sustainability in 2023.

Quincy is a Louisville (Loo-ah-vul) native and wrote his undergraduate thesis on Urban Renewal in Louisville and its effects on segregated neighborhoods. Quincy is also a Research Fellow for the Climate and Community Project (CCP). His areas of interest are environment and health, walkable and bikeable cities, and environmental social science. Quincy is versed in quantitative, qualitative, and archival research methods.
